Rann Utsav 2019 – Explore the Rich Cultural Heritage of Kutch
Rann Utsav or Kutch Rann Utsav is the famous festival celebrated in Kutch district of Gujarat, India. It is a festival of music and dance initiated by Gujarat Tourism. The word Rann means “salt marsh”. It is one of the largest salt deserts in the world. The Rann of Kutch is spread on India-Pakistan border. The region of Rann is ecologically and ethnically diverse which attracts a large number of local and foreign tourists to the State. The festival is celebrated in an area of 5,00,000 sq. mt.
Kutch Rann Utsav provides an insight into the art, crafts, music, dance, people and nature. Visit to a desert without camel is incomplete. It is fascinating both for children and adults to go on a camel when in White Rann.
